Gió Marconi is pleased to present Tristesse, a new fashion collection and shop by the Berlin-based artist John Bock.

For Tristesse, Bock has fragmented second-hand clothing in a new and ill-fitting way to create 50 "Quasi Me" outfits with emerging bubbles and pegs. All of the outfits were made between the fall of 2024 and early 2025.

In addition to the presentation of his Tristesse collection, the documentation of one of the artist's live fashion shows from the Haus der Kulturen der Welt in Berlin in 2009 will also be on display. The video shows living creatures walking the runway in Bock-designed outfits.

John Bock is an artist whose practice blends performance, object art, video art, and various other media.

The artist will be present from Wednesday, April 2nd to Saturday, April 5th, between 12:00 pm and 6:00 pm.
